Portage Wastewater Improvements
Preliminary Engineering Report (PER)
The City of Portage, Indiana will hold a public hearing at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at Portage City Hall, 6070 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
The engineering consultant for Portage, Lochmueller Group, will present the recommended project that includes Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, Sanitary Sewer Pipe Lining, and Lift Station Improvements.
The project will be funded through a Wastewater State Revolving Fund (WWSRF) loan. Copies of the updated Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) are available for public viewing at City Hall, 6070 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
There will be the opportunity for questions and comments from the public at this meeting. Written comments from the public will be accepted from September 21, 2023, through September 27, 2023. These comments should be provided in writing and can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org during the above timeframe or may be submitted in writing at the public hearing.
